Author Guidelines
Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:
1. General Requirements
The manuscript may be written in Indonesian or English. All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial board. The main text must be submitted as a Word document (.doc/.docx) or Rich Text Format (.rtf). The manuscript should contain a minimum of 5000 words, typed in a single column on A4 paper using 12 pt Cambria. Submitted manuscripts must present original work with clear contributions to scientific and educational development.
The minimum standard requirements of Educational Invention and Development Studies (EIDS) are:
- Written in English or Indonesian.
- The length of the submitted paper is between 6–15 pages. The editorial team may allow extensions beyond 15 pages when necessary.
- Use a reference management tool such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote, and apply the IEEE citation style.
- Ensure that the manuscript uses the official EIDS template and maintains a similarity index below 25% (checked using Turnitin/iThenticate).
2. Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should follow the structure below:
- Title:
The title, written in Indonesian or English, must represent the core content of the manuscript. It should be informative, concise (12–15 words), and free from formulas. - Author’s Name:
Full name(s) without academic titles, written in capital letters. Manuscripts with multiple authors must include complete contact details. - Affiliation:
Each author must provide complete affiliation details, including institution, address, postal code, phone number, and email address. - Abstract:
Written in Indonesian or English, consisting of 150–250 words in a single paragraph. The abstract should summarize the background, objectives, methodology, results, conclusion, and scientific contribution of the study. - Keywords:
Written in English, consisting of 3–5 words/phrases arranged alphabetically. - Introduction:
Provides background, research problems, significance, and a brief literature overview directly related to the study. Concludes with clearly stated research objectives. The section is written in paragraphs (~1000 words). - Methods:
Sufficiently detailed to allow replication. Includes materials, instruments, procedures, and data analysis techniques. May use sub-sections such as Instrumentation, Data Collection, and Data Analysis. - Results and Discussion:
Present findings clearly using well-prepared tables and/or figures. Do not repeat data in both text and visuals. Discuss the significance of findings, interpretation, and applicability to broader contexts. - Conclusion:
A concise summary of findings aligned with research objectives, written in one paragraph without numbering. Must emphasize the study’s scientific contribution. - Acknowledgements:
Recognize individuals or institutions not listed as authors but who contributed to the work. Include funding information when applicable. - References:
Prepared using reference management tools (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote). IEEE style is required.
